The Baskerville
at 121 S. Hamilton Street, celebrates its 100th birthday
this year. Build by the Rev. E.J. Baskerville, it was
designed in the neoclassical revival-style by architect
Robert L. Wright. It is located in the very heart of
downtown Madison, Wisconsin, on the corner of S. Hamilton
and W. Doty Streets. It is half a block from the State
Capitol Square and one block from City Hall and the
Dane County Court House. It is only a short walk to
Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, Overture
Center for the Arts, State Street shopping, churches,
and other State and private offices.
